Race Mode
How to Play
Listen or read the quick walkthrough.
Race Mode uses the same typing engine as the rest of the app, so your verse progress still saves normally while you race a CPU opponent.
Choose one person for yourself, then choose a different one for the CPU. If you want extra help, turn on Typing Assist before the race starts. It makes typing easier by helping with capital letters and special characters during that race.
Each correct character moves you forward. Keep typing cleanly to stay ahead.
Type through a mystery box to get an item if your item slot is empty. The CPU can still get items too.
When you are holding an item, press Tab or ↑ to use it.

Mystery boxes give you one of these.
Auto-types 8 upcoming characters for you.
Auto-types 14 upcoming characters for you.
Your opponent cannot move for a short moment.
Your opponent can still type, but their input becomes slower for a short time.
Pushes your opponent back by 7 characters.
