• Daily activity counts (verses typed, prayers completed, and timed tests completed)
• Prayer, Memory Verse, and Rhythm Mode progress, including scripture audio completions
• Race Mode statistics (races played, wins, losses, daily race counts)
• Bookmarked passages and bookmark category names
• Session information (time spent, frequency of use)
• Device information (browser type, operating system)

2.3 Cookies and Local Storage

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (to keep you logged in) and local storage to save your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. Stored data includes:

3.1 Shared Bookmark Collections

When you choose to share a bookmark collection, other users who have your share token can view the category name and the Bible passages you have bookmarked. You control when to share, and you can delete a shared category to remove access for all followers. Category names you create are visible to users you share with.

3.2 Shepherd's Hub Data Sharing

Shepherd's Hub is a feature for personal discipleship groups—designed for youth leaders, Bible study groups, and mentors. When you join a discipleship group through Shepherd's Hub, you consent to share your typing activity data with the group's shepherd leader (a premium subscriber). The shared data includes:

• Your display name (or email prefix if no display name is set)
• Current daily streak count
• Verses typed today and this week
• Prayers completed today and this week
• Reading time accumulated
• Typing speed (WPM) and accuracy percentage
• Verse of the Day completion status
• Last activity timestamp

You can leave a group at any time from your Account page, which will immediately stop sharing your data with that shepherd. Only premium subscribers can create and manage groups; joining a group is free for all logged-in users.

Note: Shepherd's Hub is separate from our School Licenses. For information about how student data is handled in school settings, see Section 7 (Children's Privacy & School Accounts).

4. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses the following third-party services:

4.1 Firebase

We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. Your interaction with Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy & School Accounts

7.1 General Users

Our general Service (individual accounts) is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through individual signups. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from your child through an individual account, please contact us.

7.2 School/Classroom Accounts (COPPA & FERPA Compliance)

We offer a School License feature where teachers, school administrators, and homeschool parents can create and manage student accounts for educational purposes. This feature is designed for Christian Schools, Home School Co-ops, and private educators to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA):

• No email required from students: Student accounts use only a school code, username, and password assigned by their teacher. We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or social media accounts from students.
• School/Teacher consent: By purchasing a School License, teachers and administrators represent that they are authorized to create student accounts and consent to data collection on behalf of students under FERPA's "school official" exception.
• Teacher control: Teachers create, manage, and can request deletion of student accounts and all associated educational data at any time by contacting us.
• Educational data only: We collect only educational progress data (typing speed, accuracy, lessons completed, scripture passages practiced, prayers completed) necessary for the educational purpose of the service.
• No marketing to students: Student data is never used for advertising, marketing, or any non-educational purpose. We do not display ads to students.
• No social features: School students cannot interact with other users outside their teacher's classroom. There are no public profiles, chat features, or social sharing for school accounts.
• Data deletion: Teachers can request deletion of all student data by contacting us through our Contact Form. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7.3 Information Collected for School Students

For school student accounts, we collect only:

• Username (assigned by teacher, can be pseudonymous)
• Display name (assigned by teacher, can be initials or nickname)
• Password (system-generated, stored encrypted)
• Educational progress data: typing speed (WPM), accuracy percentages, lessons completed, scripture passages practiced, prayer completions, reading time, race mode statistics, and achievement progress
• Session data: login timestamps and session identifiers for security purposes

We do NOT collect from school students: email addresses, phone numbers, photos, location data, social media accounts, or any other personal information.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Accessing and updating your information
• Deleting your information and account
• Objecting to certain processing of your information
• Data portability
