How it works

1. Start at the home row

The first lessons teach where each finger rests and build from there. You can try the free typing demo before you buy anything, and see every lesson in the course.

2. Lessons at their level

Every lesson has a target speed and a short instruction. Finger guides on an on-screen keyboard show which finger to use, and a keyboard heatmap shows which keys still need work.

3. Something to show for it

Printable certificates for each finished course and for timed tests, and report cards you can download for each term.

One dashboard

Every child's speed, accuracy, lessons and streak in one place. Assign lessons or passages with due dates, or simply let them type and read the report afterwards.

Report cards and records

Set your own terms and download a report card for each child, as a PDF or a spreadsheet, for your homeschool records.

You choose what they see

Music and game modes such as Rhythm Mode, Verse Songs and races are optional. Switch them off for your family if you would rather they stuck to lessons.

Share progress

Send a private, read-only progress link to a grandparent, a co-op teacher or the other parent. You can remove it at any time.

Price

The School & Family license is $115.20 a year for 4 children, or $12.00 a month. Each extra child is $28.80 a year. Your own account is included and does not use a place.

Your receipt names the license and the number of student accounts. Some education savings account programs ask for an itemized receipt like this; check your own program's rules, as we are not an approved vendor in any state program.

Privacy

Children need no email address. There are no ads, student data is never sold, and you can delete any child's account and data from your dashboard.
