Why do we ask?
Laws that protect children's privacy online ask us to check this before we create an account, so we can set up the right kind of account for you. We keep only the result, never your birth date, and we never share it.

Individual accounts are for people 13 and older. If that year isn't right, you can change it.
If you are under 13, a parent or teacher can give you your own login with a School & Family plan, and you won't need an email address.
