Choose one person for yourself, then choose a different one for the CPU. If you want extra help, turn on Typing Assist before the race starts. It makes typing easier by helping with capital letters and special characters during that race.

Each correct character moves you forward. Keep typing cleanly to stay ahead.

Type through a mystery box to get an item if your item slot is empty. The CPU can still get items too.

When you are holding an item, press Tab or ↑ to use it.
