Frequently asked questions

What happens when I upgrade?

The daily limits come off verse-by-verse typing, timed tests, lessons, prayers, Race Mode and Rhythm Mode, and everything marked "Not included" on the free plan opens up: Chapter-by-Chapter mode, all 200 memory verses, the full Verse Songs songbook, Bible Trivia, Pray Along, and two Streak Freezes a month. It takes effect immediately, and every bit of progress you already have carries over.

How do the daily limits work?

A free account gives you 5 verses, 5 lessons, 1 timed test, 2 prayers, 2 races and 1 Rhythm Mode song each day. They reset daily, they never expire, and no card is required. Type Together sessions draw from the same daily verse allowance, so a free session ends when you reach your 5 verses for the day. Premium removes all of these caps.

Can my children share my account?

They can sign in with it, but one account is one profile, so everyone's typing lands in the same stats, the same streak and the same achievements, and there is no way to see who did what. For a family, a School License gives each child their own login without an email address and gives you a dashboard to see their progress. Lifetime +3 is the other route: three Lifetime codes, each redeemed on a separate account.

How do the Lifetime +3 codes work?

Lifetime +3 is $119.99 once. Your own account becomes Lifetime Premium and you receive three Lifetime codes to give to anyone you like. Each person redeems their code from the Account page of their own account, and the codes never expire. If you already have Lifetime Premium, the same $119.99 buys four codes instead.

Can I cancel, and what happens to my progress?

Monthly Premium can be cancelled any time from your Account page. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and partial periods are not refunded. Lifetime is a single payment with nothing to cancel. Either way your progress stays: verses typed, stats, achievements and streaks are all still there, and if you drop back to the free plan you simply return to the daily limits.

School license FAQ

Is this for homeschool families too?

Yes. The 4-seat minimum covers up to four children, and your own account is included without taking a seat. Each child gets their own login, you see each one's progress from the dashboard, and you can assign work with due dates or simply let them type and read the report card afterwards. Four seats is $115.20 a year or $12.00 a month.

How does student login work?

Students log in with a school code, a username and a password. No email addresses required. You create student accounts from your teacher dashboard, and each student gets credentials you can print or export as CSV. Good for younger students, or schools with email restrictions.

What features do students get?

Everything in the Premium column on the Individual tab, with no daily limits: unlimited verse-by-verse typing, timed tests, lessons, prayers, Race Mode and Rhythm Mode, plus Chapter-by-Chapter mode, all 200 memory verses, the full Verse Songs songbook, Bible Trivia and Pray Along.

Does my own account use a seat?

No. Your own account is included and doesn't take a seat. Seats are consumed by the student and sub-teacher accounts you create, drawn from one shared pool. A 100-seat license could be 95 students plus 5 sub-teachers, or any other mix.

Can I add more students mid-year?

Yes. You can increase your seat limit any time from your dashboard, and you pay the pro-rated difference for the new seats for the remainder of your billing cycle.

Can other staff help manage the school account?

Yes. The license owner can add sub-teacher accounts from the School Dashboard. Sub-teachers log in with the same school code as students but get teacher-level access to manage the roster, groups, assignments, and reports. Each sub-teacher uses one seat from the same shared pool as students. Sub-teachers cannot manage billing or add other sub-teachers; those stay with the license owner.

How does the volume discount work?

The more seats you buy, the lower the per-seat cost. On yearly billing, 4 to 30 seats costs $28.80 per seat per year, which works out to $2.40 a month. Above 30 the rate slides down continuously: 100 seats is $20.00 per seat per year, 200 seats $16.00, 300 seats $15.00, 500 seats $13.60, and 1,000 seats $12.00. Paying monthly instead costs 25% more per seat, so yearly billing saves you 20%. The calculator above shows your exact rate for any seat count between 4 and 1,000.
